Dear Japanese Masking tape,

I know we just met, but there is something about you that makes my life whole. All the possibilities of what could be, frequently dance around in my head. There are so many DIY projects I long to do with you, you are so reasonably priced for how awesome you are. You are compact and so easy to work with, you will surely travel well with me to Mexico.

All my love,

Ohhhh, the possibilities...

As soon as I get my very own shipment of japanese masking tape, I will be posting some attempted DIY projects. See ya soon!

All Hallows Eve

"If you get melted chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly" ~Author Unknown

Spooky intro, eh? I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween tomorrow! Eat lots of candy and remember to drive slowly! There are lots of little goblins that will be too excited about candy to look both ways before crossing the street.

Today I leave you with some furbaby love.

I am gonna be Miss Piggy for Halloween, what are you gonna be?

Just a little crazy.

Some of you may be wondering what kind of crazy person would plan a wedding from 10,000 miles away??? Well technically, after consulting google maps, I actually found that Isla Mujeres is just under 1,000 miles away from Texas...Either way, its far ok?

Well, let me tell you why we decided to have a destination wedding instead of a traditional wedding in our own wonderful city.

1.) We (well, I) wanted a small wedding and realistically, that just wouldn't be possible in a city where my whole extended family lives. I knew there would be drama if we had a small wedding here in town. So, that was easily avoided by planning a wedding far, far away :D

2.) The only place in town that I fell in love with was WAY over budget. nuff said.

3.) Get a load of this place!

There is also a lot of other fun stuff to do on the island, so we knew our guests would have a blast. We started off with a little snorkeling...

An underwater camera was the BEST investment for this trip! We had so much fun with it. It takes fun underwater pictures but its not so good at anything else...hehe. This is the one we bought.

Then we hung out with some friendly iguanas...

These iguanas were everywhere! All they want is to be loved...and fed. For the most part, they stayed away from us, except when Mr. PF decided to feed them tortillas.

Then, we finished up with a cultural trip...

It's not a trip to the Mexican Riviera without a day trip to Chichen Itza! So hot, and I got a really weird bug bite that came home with us, but it was worth it!

Did you ever contemplate a destination wedding to avoid family drama?
